Hi there, my name is Robin, and I am a 20-year-old software developer based in Zurich, Switzerland. I approach life with a sense of joy and an insatiable thirst for adventure. As a risk-taker, I embrace challenges without hesitation. During my leisure time, I engage in extensive programming endeavors, constantly seeking new projects to undertake. These ventures may not necessarily revolve around programming exclusively. For instance, I recently embarked on the exhilarating endeavor of launching a weather balloon into space solely for recreational purposes and to capture captivating videos. Another passion of mine lies in utilizing drones to capture breathtaking footage, as showcased on the miniature monitor.
I am deeply passionate about my role as a software developer,
constantly driven to explore new frontiers. I recently concluded
my apprenticeship at Swiss Re, where I have dedicated the past
four years of my career. This invaluable experience has bestowed
upon me a wealth of knowledge and an understanding of the dynamics
of working within a fast paced and highly professional
environment.
During my time at SwissRe, I successfully oversaw the full
lifecycle of the web application, from gathering requirements to
deployment and ongoing maintenance. I collaborated closely with
cross functional teams, ensuring seamless integration and
delivering an exceptional user experience.
In 2021, I embarked on an inspiring endeavor at the ICT Campus in
Luzern, Switzerland, where I dedicated my time as a side hustle to
ignite a passion for IT among children of all ages. Witnessing the
sheer delight on their faces as they wrote their inaugural lines
of code or crafted their very first game has been an immensely
rewarding experience for me.
At the ICT Campus, it's not solely about programming. I take
immense pleasure in introducing these young minds to a vast array
of captivating subjects, including 3D modeling and the fascinating
realm of electronics and hardware. By providing them with hands-on
experience, I enable them to explore the limitless possibilities
within the IT industry.
After some time, I decided to relocate to the ICT Campus in
Zurich, a move that has allowed me to continue my mission with
even greater convenience and accessibility. I look forward to
continuing my journey of inspiring and guiding the next generation
of tech enthusiasts at this esteemed institution.
